I hope you don't mind, I edited it a tad because I suck at explaining lol. I think what it needs is some more contrast in the colors and AA around the outline -

Nice job Storm! I think it and the original version look nice, but I think someone should add a tad more shading towards the bottom, but, hey thats just my opinion. (Sorry for bad grammar haha)
