Bamb staff: 7 damage spins like the sabor does, ablity to put on back for looks mostly :D
Ak74u: overall nice gun 8 damage 9 in perfect usefull for spar :o

The bamboo staff isn't necessarily good, at least that's what I've heard from many people. I personally have the katana, and I can tell you that it is a wonderful 9 damage melee. So what it all comes down to is what you like most, close range combat or long range combat. The katana is excellent for close range and the ak74u is a very good weapon for long range as well.
Bamboo is really just for its gfx/looks.
The Katana is a great melee if not the best melee in game yet.
Ak74usd is a great sparring weapon for its price, I would recommend this gun if you cant afford getting money for higher priced guns.
