The shape of the hat seems a bit odd though.

Umm I actually need more feedback..

Change the side frames, it's too curvy at the bottom. Also change the back frame, its small, make it a bit larger.

Looks like a duck on the sides.

The white really defeats the rest of the colors. I'd say replace it with either brown or a dark gray. Otherwise, FANTASTIC! If you're aiming for a modern day came hat though, try doing it in MARPAT instead of standard blobs
