For the first question, I'm not sure, maybe it's your personal opinion that the animations are bad. I'm sure a lot of work was put into the shop, but we did kind of rush them for the past couple months or so.
The second question: EC items were not meant to be dropped in the first place, they should be earned and worked for rather than bought from other players.

If more ec items would be droppable then if they get scammed all their hard work will be wasted and feel regret xC ec is hard to earn now-a-days:(
