Current status of event weapons?

So I've read a bit on these new balance changes and I personally don't have an opinion on them yet but my main interest is changes to event weapons, particularly the chemical gun.

Would anyone mind summarizing the changes to any of the 100+ EC weapons in a post? Also the justification, if any, for these changes. I'm sorry to bother but I'm slightly pressed for time at the moment, I've been inactive, and I can't currently read through all the posts about changes. This isn't a thread meant for posts for or against the changes, I'd just like a small summary of the changes to the higher priced weapons. I haven't been active since maybe fall of last year so I am kind of lacking on information. Thanks in advanced and my apologies for my own laziness.
