2017 Exotic Item Shop Extension?

Why did the shop close before the end of the year? I was legit saving gralats to buy the armor all year and just hit 200k just to be told the yearly exotic shop was closed like 3 days before the end of the year... legit the only thing I saved for... why couldn’t it stay open the last 2 or 3 days right before the new year like what is that?

Because they like to make the items rare / unique if the same shop was open there would be more suits and blades which would make them less special
