Waypoints.

Commonly found in most RPG's and basically any other game, waypoints are a pin point on a map to show you where you need to go without scrambling through your map. Now, waypoints are more helpful when you have a mini map on screen. We can not implement a mini map due to the interface and to the fact there is no room, unless they tinker with the interface of course. The solution to that could be a arrow at the feet of your character (bare with me this could be kind of hard to explain).

In the diagram above (birds eye view) it is showing how the arrows will be pointing, however, there will only be one arrow pointing in that direction you in need to be going and it goes in a 360 digress diameter.

This can be helpful in a couple of ways. You are not having to open up your map covering the screen, then closing waking up to death (in other word, you were killed when looking at map). This happens to everyone. Also it is just faster and save a great deal of time. I know some of you sarcastic like fellows are probably saying "Well I know where everything is so I don't need even the map", or "Just go to a safe place and look at the map." This is true, but some people who are new to the game or not great experienced (trying not to define them as noobs, well just kind of did :/ sorry peeps who fall under that category, no intention to be mean) may not know these things giving them a shortcut and a easy tool for them to use.

I think this could work I mean they could upload images I suppose and be able to have the images of arrows. Although I don't see a huge need because the map is just a click away and the map isn't huge.

Great idea but not essentially needed.

This actually kind of is like GTA now that you have me thinking about it. But I would find it helpful for the reason of easier navigation and not constantly looking at the map. Do you have a actual reason on why you do not like this so we can edit it, instead of you being sarcastic (not to be rude)?

For one reason this thread has already been discussed...that kind of annoys me.

The map is easy enough to memorize. I would like the waypoint only for directions to new shops and THAT'S IT, otherwise I would rather just memorize era. It's not that hard to remember your way around such a small place(yes I used the word small).

Honestly it isn't that bad of an idea...just a useless one in my opinion.

I had no clue this was already discussed so forgive me for that. And I have Graal pretty well memorized, yet I still find myself lost sometimes. But agreed.

This would be so helpful! Sometimes I search for things on the map and then when I reopen the map its gone so a waypoint will be pretty helpful. I wouldn't need to keep typing in for search
