Well, you never know, it could be something like staff impersonating, since they have the rare hat, they can go to trade tables and tell people theyre staff to get their trust.. and their item of course!
Honestly I hate it that they stopped giving hats out Austin got coops hat because "an admin owed me"

Ive never been a fan of those hats and i find them more off a showoff thing for staff members in general and when someone gets fired the hat Will still exist. It is also a lot of work to keep track where these hats where given.
I think it would be cooler if they added event hats not a ugly head on you, more like the shop hats.
