I'm gonna be honest here and you should too.
Do you ever had this feeling in the past when all the old era times were fun?
And now the new generation of era is like...dropping down continuously?
It was way fun in the past for me, now it's like a disaster(sorry if I'm offending).
Miss the old days, does anyone miss your old time fun in era?
I've thought about this. But really, the old times were better for me because of my friends. If everything was the same content-wise as back then, it would get really, really boring. I don't think it's good to dwell in the past too much, Era has advanced, and people need to appreciate what's been done for them, instead of wishing that nothing really changed. If there were only 5 ish guns in all of era, then I'd be completely bored due to a lack of variety.
So now it's time for Era to feel what Classic has been through? As a player who played since day one in December of 2010 Era has advanced a ton. You miss your friends and the good times you had with a ton of other people.

I do miss the old iEra, only because I had a lot more friends, but most of them have quit or are inactive a lot. Also miss when PBP and BAR never existed, basing was a lot more fun imo and I quit because of it. But other than that I enjoy iEra with all the improvements and additions.
I kinda miss the old setup at start, it was much more stylish. Plus I am a nostalgic person, so what'cha gonna do?

I've only started era when it first released on App Store December 2010.
I then came all this way to be better at a game- I lost quite a lot of friends in the past.
Miss those old admins and places that were once stood there but taken away.
Some of those places actually doesn't need to move, I actually like them for once:o

Era couldn't stay the same forever, but there were things that did not need to be changed or removed. Old Era is very different now to the new era. Older era players get traumatized by such changes that they were used to before that update. The change of the m4 price has surprised some players. Going from $0/$4500 to $45,000 to $55,000. The nerfing of every "starter" weapon traumatized some. (The good old days when it was Ak47 vs M4)
Looking at the old era, it was quite bare when almost every house was locked, but the new era has introduced pay2win weapons which destroyed weapon balancing and variety. (Despite M4 was still a mainstream gun back then)
I miss the old times too.
Back then guns were balanced and there was more competition in bases instead of pure spam fests. Also many old players have gone and a lot of newer ones are pretty annoying.

Original players are losing the point to play as I do too. Back then I had a lot of friends to have fun with. We were chilling on idiotism tag with tots, chicken and waffles, xoxo as our allies. We were doing some fun stuff like server crashing using saber block which got nerfed after, we were winning 5/5 events hosted and leaving the ec. Why? Just for fun. Soon later my friends either got hired or quit. Not much to do anymore.
Another reason that makes me miss old era are ec and events. Events used to be rarely hosted and ec's were hard to gain. I remember that day when njc got his saber and I was on my 50s ec. Event items were rare and something you would be proud of. Right now ec's are given free every day and every noob has a katana which used to be an "elite" weapon.
What annoys me the most is new players. Most of them buy graalat packs to look "cool" in game. When i'm basing these new idiots use traps and bars to base and after they kill you they have to grab you 150 times and talk ****. New players arent like us - oldies. Come to spar complex and within 5 minutes you will see the words "ez noob, spammer, lagger". Back then spar was actualy fun and interesting. We were using m4's and skill was actually a thing. Now these new players use bars, pbps, and even traps to get spar wins and look, once again, "cool" in game.
I miss barrel glitching into the waterpark a few years ago. I forgot how by now, though. :3
I joined era in 2012 semtember . Back then the players were ok the graphics were unique everbody was doing there own thing.i think back then there was like 4 ec upload a day i would miss majority of them because i was still new.The graphic werent the best back then but they were unique now a days you can tell if a gani staff used a previous item made to make a new one.Scammers were ok and trading was ok.basically what im trying to everything was ok before more new players came.(back then barley anything was empty, now almost everything is)
Also if you have noticed the iEra does no longer have that "i". Right now I see many android hackers playing and thats another reason why originals quit I guess.

Ahh old Era. Where cars were $2000, people could steal your shells, roads were different, and scamming wasn't even an thought. I only miss the prices of things and the ability to drop.
i miss when you could get an M4 from a crab :) Also, when you didnt need a team of 8 to take a base (darn PBP spammers). When starters werent nerfed to a bad freeze and lower clip size, and when there werent these auction guns that are all basically the BAR
Auction guns were even more OP then, i remember the only guns auctioned were the shipka, tec9, water pistols and luger. All of them were more powerful than they are now, except water pistols and luger which are the sameQuote:

I feel ya man. I've Been here since it was released in 2010. sK dominated and EBIZOU dominated, and bars were the rarest things on the planet. I remember several ec Lms's I was in, and I would make it to the finals, and it would be like me, slasher, yogy, bobo, poorface, failure, and it would be a battle royale with uzis. It was epic. There was no such thing as ec uploads, and it was beautiful.Quote:

Now all the new generation of players are insanely obnoxious. I got back into sparring a few days ago, and it's hell. Lol M4 was 4500 gralats, I remember when streaking was first introduced, Gang bases looked different and a lot of stuff was cheap.
