True!But tbh with all money that Unix got from IAPs he could of hire some REAL workers,not just volunteers who will do everything for free.

I've played quite a few mmos. Most alot more complicated than Era 100,000+ players. I'm telling you alot of them you will be lucky to ever see an admin EVER after years of playing. The fact era has admins that actually communicate says alot.

And I don't see how things are not done professionally. Regardless if the scriptures are paid or not. That's rude AF saying it's not professional when someone does alot of these things in there spare time. Some of you should really think before posting.

They are bloody volunteers, not workers who gets paid annually.
Stop with the accusation on staffs, this is going nowhere. All ideas from players is not acknowledge by most staffs(including Manager) as the ideas given by players are a bit extreme to be created in the first place.
Staffs don't just randomly accept someone's idea like they're gonna work for it every single day. Everybody has a life to deal with, what's with the random blames on both parties?

From my point of view, I can see Stefan/Stephan getting on rarely just to fix bugs or script errors.
I knew this thread would not only catch the eyes of members but also the game itself.
The concept of the staff role is to help people/guide them as well as making the game more enjoying.
If you're not happy just because staffs don't do what you wanted, then you can gradually go and make those 'ideas' of yours come to life instead of just giving it out.

Something so extreme can't be done in a few days/weeks. It takes a whole lot of patience to do this developments.
In the end, I would like to see how well you can hire players as staffs.
Age Restriction, Maturity and Knowledge is what needed to become a good role model. If you don't have the following requirements, why bother?

As I can see, the new staffs are hired wrongly in my perspective. They aren't even good at their role imo.
But have you seen me complaining so much just because I don't get what I wanted or what others want?
So what if the game is suckish/lame, you're still playing it so deal with it.

Did you even understand what I said?!I meant that instead of USING players to make all the dirty work in era for free Toonslab could of hire people for that!But of course!It is way cheaper to use volunteers for such company.I am protecting admins and accusing developers if you still did not get it.

They volunteered themselves to help the game and players.
Toonslab actually wanted to pay the managers(and those working for years) in the first place. Snk even said it himself that he was given the opportunity to gain irl cash but he wishes to help the game out for free instead.
Look at the staffs, they all enjoy their roles because of powers and the kind of roles they have.
Since when did the game company itself made use of others just so that the managers/creators and slack?
They aren't slaves, their volunteers.

I know,I know...it is fun for them but when it comes to important/big projects like countryside they get a lot of pressure on them and it feels like players are making slaves out of them and people like me and you must remind them again that they are volunteers,not actual developers.
