It's helpful for original players like me and I am assuming you. We got the broom last year. If you read the news it stated that if you got the broom last year you get an EC this year.

Just stay quiet. Ec is free and always has been, whether won from events (doesn't cost a thing unless event bot), fb upload, or broadcast. No one has ever bought ec.
