I think they mean to outline like this, I also tried to fix some of your shading sources (I really like how you shaded the antlers so I kept it as is) but I kind of ran out of time. Eh, hope it helps a bit. ^^ You should also try to use more contrast with your colours, because atm they kind of blend dully.

Try to fix the shape of your hat. It looks awkward. Also try to make your hat bigger. More room to add some more details.
