Gray isn't rusty at all. It's the color of steel or whatnot.

It's beautiful.
I can see the shape clearly and a lot of detail is put into it.
I agree with Peter that some shading on the blade would make it stand out even more.
Adding some grey will create shininess to appear as metal/steel.

Looks great, only suggestion is to make the handle about 2 pixels smaller, at the moment it's almost the size of the hand and wouldnt look as great if it was ganied
