As stated with the posts above, you will receive a PM which has an image in it, if you go to to where that image was taken you'll see like..floating EC's, if you upload a screenshot to Facebook from there, you'll get a free EC.
And sometimes, higher admins give out free EC. You basically do nothing to earn that one.
