I don't remember the server ever having this either.

If this idea was to be used, I have a solution.

If your allign is cop, your chat is in a blue/purple color. If you are neutral, it would be black/white. If you are a gangster, it would be a dark red/orange.
And of course, if you are a staff member you can speak in any of these colors, including gold and regular red.

I don't see what's wrong with the idea, it's good, but there should be a limit to the size of the letter in the chat.
