Well your right. The Staff team should change their actions and at least try making the community positive. We can't have a game that has a negative community and admins not controlling them it's crazy

Whether it was her choice or not HW should not be managing two servers, even if she wasn?t, snk was/is/will always be the optimal choice for the job, there was not once a reason why he shouldn?t be. He got the job done and was liked by the community. Period.

This is old news. HomelessWitch is doing fine without snk - personally I think she's doing an even better job, she actually has hours unlike snk being offline continuously. I remember a time where he was on, then went off a minute later. Most will argue its because he's focussing on Managing and not playing. But if you own a game - you always need to see the view of a player to do updates. And personally I think @junz does this superbly. Same with Tristan as he's always AFK in the trades and always has a small view of whats going down whenever he needs it. And HomelessWitch is doing this extraordinarily well. Snk was once a legend. Now he may be forgotten with ease.

It's easier to push updates when you have unixmad and other scripters there as well.
Keep in mind when snk was managing iera we didn't have any extra scripters aside from snk himself most of the time.

People make it seems like it's a laziness or attitude thing- snk just didn't have the resources.

Tristan regularly hosts events and is active on the forums.

We missed snk i hope he comeback to era!!

I won't forget him. I think anyone who got know him even a little bit won't forget him. He is a funny guy and you could tell he really enjoyed making everyone in Era happy.

He contributed so much to Era. I don't know anything about why he left but one thing that I know is everything that the staff team does is very time consuming. The more you know how to do, the more busy you will be.

Try to see if you can find all the SNK NPC all over Era.

this thread is always revived lol. We all miss Snk

I'm not sure if I would say that snk "left" as much as he was booted out. He didn't even know he wasn't the manager anymore until he no longer had RC access.
From what I understand it wasn't a smooth thing.
I was only present for some of the stuff that went down. I didn't see everything and I'm sure there's more than one argument to be made but from my point of view it's disingenuous to say that snk "left" the server.

That is a shame. The only reason someone would be removed is due to breaking the rules or inactivity.

snk had a very legitimate reason to be away and he was removed without prior warning.

besides, he was only inactive on the client, he was still around and doing the best he could to make sure the game ran smoothly.

I guess the argument would be how long you can be inactive with a valid reason?

He is still a great guy an awesome scripter. I don't see why he would not be able to still contribute to Era if he wished to do so.

I am wondering why he still hasn't tried to come back to help without his manager role.

If I became inactive and lost my position I would still try to come back as a a lesser position. I don't really care about the positions much. Your are as important as what you can contribute. Since he can script he is surely still very important.

I hope your joking tristan, because if at this point the manager of a game have to justify his self to lower positions staff why he wasnt on then this game is a joke. if the manager get fired because he was inactive and had no valid reason then its unfair, he probably had some issues with real life problems.

On top of that, as a player i dont think that its ok to bring back snk as a lower position for any reason. This is a pure joke. You cannot get downgrade in a role position for being inactive.

Its not about ego, it about what he deserves, and he deserves more than this. You lost so much potential people that was making this game still a bit fun comparing to old era

Most likely the post or thread they made to get them banned was deleted. This has gone a bit off topic though so I agree it should be closed.
