What are they gonna make? There?s no specific hat we wear during Ramadan or anything special (to wear) but food.
Although we?ve got something called قرقيعان one day during Ramadan where kids wear the traditional clothes and the older ppl give them candy. Similar to Halloween.
Can't believe you're still sticking with this community and game, Casey.
Especially after what the staff team did to you.
If it dies, it dies. The problem is not the advertisement of the forums (nothing will spice things up), but rather the people who run it.
You're still holding onto some childish dream // wake up
- Maamoul (typically Eid treat, I know, but hey, people do make some in Ramadan)
-thobe (Yes, I understand the thobe (aka dis'ta'sheh) is Arab, not Islamic, but have you noticed that people wear thobes all of a sudden in Ramadan?)
(Picture of thobe)
Spoiler
-a Quran
-Moo'su'ee'eh (aka prayer rug in English) (I'm sorry my spelling may have hurt your eyes. But all posts must be in English. :C)
-Tehmer (aka dates) :3 mai favorite
-etc.
There’s alrdy deshdasha in Razface’s shop
-I don’t think adding Quran would be a good idea
So it’d basically be all food related but idk who would make a good looking date hat without making it look like khara https://goo.gl/images/ANi7YF
we eat maamul at easter too, so it's not really an event food
i think there was a praying rug last year.
translation of khara is poop.
and also 1 GFX competition won't bring back everyone, it will only attract people who GFX, we should make a poll on what are the most favorite section in era-go, i personally prefer Off-topic and Future Improvements, this way we can clean up the forums a bit, removing some unused sections and adding new ones. and that's only the beginning, then to attract the crowd we first need them to register, just so they can meet the forums, as in find out about it, which is where advertizing comes, and that by ingame and social media. Second we need to show that the forums can be useful for the players, meaning we can add a tab to the page saying "Toonslab support" rather than telling each and everyone the site name.
instead of having a thread sharing the rules and consequences and upload rules, have a tab on the top of the page to show them all, at the same page, with of course some quick shortcuts to find the Q&As such as Q:"my friend scammed me, what do I do?" A: Scamming is legal bla bla bla but if he used some sort of balbalbalbalba".
I just hate how clunky and untidy the forum is, removing old closed threads that are outdated is a start.
just let the forums die
Well scratch out the Ramadan idea Ramadan's next week
-Ramadan lasts a month
-fasting for the daylight hours
-praying for about half of the night (tarweeh)
-When Ramadan is over, there's an event called Eid Al-Fitr that lasts for 4 day (It's basically like Xmas and Thanksgiving combined in one)
-you have to act nice or else ur fast is not accept
It's basically what you'd expect in an Islamic holy month.

Hey guys, remember to stay on topic.
Sucks.
These are all good points and ideas. I do agree, the forums should be revived. Sometimes it gets boring because of the lack of people, and once it gets boring it's just a slippery slope downhill from there.
Can we have an option to reply on people's post and it'd go under the post and not part of the thread? It's annoying to see some people post irrelevant posts that would only derail the thread.
Also, I agree with the dev contest, that'd be great, but like someone said, it would only attract that group to the forums. Well, not only that, but who wants to go on a forum that is filled with ranting? I feel as if the forums is filled with that. (Maybe I am living the past)
Then there's the issue of not being heard by the staff team through the forums, which has been a huge problem since the birth of the forums.
We need to fix the forums first before advertising.
You can't really invite someone to your house if it's a mess. (Well you could if you don't care)
An in-game forum is just a terrible idea by the way.
We need more creative contest as well that anyone can do and not to be pay-to-win. (Yes, you darn home design contests. God, so expensive.)
What are the requirements for a Webmaster?
How may this be a dumb question? I’m asking if there are specific requirements to become a Webmaster. Do they have to learn something technical about the forums? I don’t know their role, geez. Are you assuming that I’m trying to apply for the position? Lmao, I’m just trying to determine if it’s that hard to become a Webmaster so we could revive the forums as we are discussing in this thread.

Yeah being in the Mod Team makes it easier or have a better chance to become a Webmaster or a Forum Admin. But you don’t have to be in that particular spot to fill in the position. You could be a staff or a high staff (the better) from another department, but I guess they are looking for the best candidate.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webmaster gives a pretty good description of what a webmaster does and is required to do.
Why don't we ask one of the old web masters to come back?
I could be a webmaster but I forgot I have 20 warns. Marg will take over (he has "0" warns) good webmaster pick
It’s not gonna be easy to find a Webmaster. They don’t just pop out of nowhere and decide to become one. I believe the Manager or an overall Administrator is the one responsible to find someone like Bboy. I mean do we know someone who knows a language or two in programming or HTML? Who knows the rest of the requirements? Yeah maybe someone in the staff team knows how but you gotta check if they are available. But in general, it is going to be a challenge since the rest of the knowing-staffs are goner.
I mean, I know a couple other programming languages so I could probably learn HTML decently easily with a bit of effort.
Also keep in mind that the webmaster is a very high position, and what they do with the OFFICIAL forums for the game is very representative, no matter how inactive the forums are. The webmaster would have to have earned a high level of trust from the higher ups to even be considered for the role. If you give some random pr the webmaster role, what happens if they get fired and decide to take their frustrations out by ruining the forums?
I have little to no experience with HTML and CSS.

I gave up after a week because too much. xP
