Countryside? pfffft more like Cowpooside, its never going to be released.

I think snk is scripting by himself. So it's probably just a matter of time, 50-60 years.

Actually people do care, there are two posts by Link Co and Killakev asking for people to stop arguing and complaining, and let it be for actual news. Maybe you should try reading above before assuming things and get angry at others :) and we don't have a choice not to look because we get notifications when there is something posted. (And we assume it's news about the countryside, not complaining. Complaining won't make it come any sooner.)

We have no formal release date. Even if it was when he said we're a slow team as far as scripting goes and things happen. It's unrealistic to say to the community that it's going to be released on x month. If that's a real PM I don't know why he said that and you should disregard it. I'm not saying snk doesn't know what he's talking about, but look at our track record.
I can tell you that last year (I think) we were so close to releasing it we were counting the days and then it got pushed back so don't take any dates you hear for granted.

Last time I got info about countryside it was said that everything was in fact finished but Unixmad was postponing it or something so graphics can be updated or something, I forget but who knows could be next week ;)

It's not quite finished yet but it's certainly getting there

I'm pretty sure they will make another thread if they were going to put information.

There is a reason we DON'T tell people our internal release dates and schedules.
It's been pushed back time and time again and the decision for staff members to tell people our current target dates is a bit disappointing.

You might remember when we released the port/docks update? When we pushed that update we were literally days away from releasing countryside.
Take anything you hear with a grain of salt please.
Please don't go around perpetuating these rumours, please do not upload screenshots and get people's hopes up.

Close it and keep it stickied. There are so many useless posts and arguements that I'm kind of confused as to why it's still open. Have staff reopen it for countryside announcements when the time comes, no point in leaving it open for unncessary bumps, arguements, and annoyances.

We've only had 1 release date in the past and we didn't make it, there hasn't been another legitimate release date announced since.
