Make the start area PKable whenever a riot happens. Give admins the ability to trigger this like how gang-fort events are started. Maybe if their is a join button you can become into a GP with a riot shield. Haha just an idea.

its simple, you can't end riots, the first thing to know about protesters or rioters is they will not go down. However, you can reduce riots on both forums and in game, wanna know how? LISTEN TO THE PLAYERS AND DO WHAT THEY WANT
Era really lacks the ability to listen to players, (especially on issues that have to do with weapons). Actually listen to players, if they are rioting about something then make a 2day long poll on erago. If the poll passes, you act on the poll IMMEDIATLY. If the poll is rejected, then dont do it.

Sadly riots will never stop as all it takes is one or two players to start something and then everyone will join in just so they can be a part of it too, and not even know what they're supporting.

To help break up a riot, broadcast a message warning them to stop and (depending on whatever they're rioting about) offer a solution, and then host some events, auctions or gang spars. Those always gets people moving and takes their mind off of everything else, and for those few who continue to riot even after the warning, give them a gag. It'll be a peaceful way of ending it without anyone getting in major trouble.

And here is where my voting system comes in. But listening to the players is not what they should do because they are asking for ec and tazers in the riot.

My brain has been activating. Give the non rioters a warning to get out of the place immediately and when the only people left are the riot people, gag them all
