it's the group of people that run the current bases.
they're all friends and they play constantly.
put the gun back to the way it was and we won't ever mention that this happened.

When minigun a 200k gun is better then a 200ec chemical gun LMAO
Focusing on those who doesn't own the CG, the update pretty much throws the gun as a PK weapon and it was meant to be that way since the release.
Then there are still some who chooses to adjust the blame indirectly just because the standards wasn't met.
I'm not saying it's a bad change, but seeing players who rarely do much for a 200EC weapon proves a point or two that nothing can satisfy the playerbase other than bringing it forth.
Just went online to check the dissatisfaction from both sides and was filled with repugnance to how players want something they aren't willing to work for.
Like I said, I can go with any changes but if people are still unhappy then what's this 'balance procedure' that people fail to understand?
I don't think you understand the definition of rigged. Of course players with it will be mad, if your gun that's been op for awhile has been nerfed it changes your way of playing. It's for the better though since basing finally isn't just trying to recruit members with the gun anymore

I'm a CG owner and bought it a few days after its release and when Sam introduced the new changes I am sure as hype.
Why? Simply because I understood the concepts of balancing a game item and wouldn't throw a massive tantrum at the only GA working for us.
You, on the other hand, are probably from that group of ranters who focuses on unjust stats rather than skill-based.
Remember how the GM4 was nerfed badly and everybody started being concerned at wrong times? Ya, look back at it and look to the latter. Nobody is complaining about it ever since so I'm pretty sure this would go the exact same for the CG.

So why not sit down and give some constructive criticism other than being repetitive about how the current nerf was unneeded to a fault.
You made a unique gun turn into a gun like bar? Everyone has damn bar. Making it a little better than bar is so stupid ffs it's 200 ec man bar you can get in 3 minutes with iTunes chem you gotta work for and so you're going to make it like bar? Everyone has bar so now chem is just like a crypt skin it's rare looking but it only does a little more than bar. Yup I'm quitting graal first comes chem nerf then comes no +1 damage, who knows what comes after that.

this is what's going to happen.
you're going to upset your oldest players that have supported the game for a very long time.
the new players will still complain after it's nerfed.
the old players will play less.
I use to buy monthly in game currency for hats and VIP.
now I quit buying hats and swords.
VIP is next.. I'll just make pizzas.
This will change things. I don't trust the staff to "do the right thing" anymore.
Give the EC back and take the CG out of the game if you're going to nerf it anymore.
So you've made chem normal again but you've banned it from basing... That's the entire point of the gun and that's what it's been used for by everyone who bought it, why don't you just put a cap on the gun like I said as all this entire weekend has been is arguing by everybody.
Putting a cap is the only solution I can think of and the amount of chems at the moment is not bad, obsidian just happens to know how to get all of them to join. There are 65-70 chems atm, only make 15-20 more chems available then completely remove it from the shop.
This will avoid a nerf (most likely also avoid weeks of arguing) and give players a chance to save up. And it's the only logical answer at this point.
You're probably one of the reasons why Sam decided to make amendments for himself.
Where's the creative thinking sketch that you seek before? Contradictions are just revealing all your motives currently.

You have literally lived up to my prediction of how you would act once you got the chem gun for yourself. The answer to your suggestion of adding a cap has been answered multiple times. I suggest you actually read the reason I have provided you for once.

I know you've given me reasons but at this point what are you gonna do? Anything you do to Chem can get you massive amounts of hate, only because it's so valued by people like me. So are you gonna do something smart like just get rid of it and give people a chance to get it before it runs out or ruin the experience for everyone who has it
I think it would be a great idea if only the gang leader could use cg in bases or something along those lines. Then there would be a limit that would help the imbalance without nerfing the gun.
before you sell an EC item there needs to be a map where you're allowed to use it, thanks to this issue.

Selfish as your proposal only suits your needs. You have chem now already so you don't care if it gets limited. If it had been limited when you were just about to get it you would be in here complaining either way.
And in addition to that you are forgetting the fundamental issue that I have already told you so many times.
Enough people have chem for it to create and issue. And the people with chem are mostly the "big gangs". Adding a cap now does nothing as there is already an issue currently, and so adding a cap doesn't fix the issues it creates.
Not only that but it means the gangs that currently have all the chems will become even stronger as you are more or less forced to use a chem to compete against a gang with one. So if a limiter was added every other gang without a chem would be stuck with the huge disadvantage indefinitely.
Removing it from bases completely eliminates all of these issues, means it doesn't matter how many people get it and actually allows its stats to be better as they aren't constrained to being balanced for base defending/ attacking.
The only possible situation in which a limiter would ever be added is before or within a few days after release of the item.
Sure the 60-70 chem owners will be mad, but i'm sure there is a higher number of people who will be happy about this change as they get more of a chance when attacking bases now. Chem gun owners are the minority, and the fact they had such a significant control over bases was ridiculous.
The people who have had chem for awhile should be thankful they got to use the chem in its old state for as long as they did. The only people who are copping the worst of it are the people who just bought it. Although I don't exactly take sympathy for those people as I specifically said to wait until after the nerf before you decided if you still wanted it.

Take that up with the people that added chem gun to the game. I'm just the one stuck having to fix OP guns, with the vast majority of which being guns I wasn't around for when they were being added to the game. (chem, flame, gm4, p2k, bar, wh64).
It's like getting mad at a political leader for something that was put in place by the person before them. Nothing they could do about it then so it's up to them to fix it now.

Another thing I just thought of. Now that chem is disabled people are actually using normal guns. So your welcome to the people saying era is turning into zone as that's one less futuristic laser weapon you'll be seeing
