The cost of the tables was heavily debated. 100 gralats is nothing.
As for dropping, they were disabled because a few players found a way to duplicate literally millions of shells.
We say one player with quite a few stacks of shells in his house worth about 100k shells each.

The removal of the drop system really sucks honestly. But in turn it has curtailed a lot of scams I guess :/ It's a give and take sort of thing. I guess when gifting through trade tables it's more wise to gift big such as a bundle of minerals to last awhile instead of enough for just one gun. It's more cost effective that way for both sides.
That's another possible negative result of this
Then make it so once you gift to someone they can't gift to you for a period of time... Or make it so you can only gift 1 item at a time. If people are so foolish they'd not pay $100 and not be scammed they're idiots and deserve to be scammed.

I would say to lower the trade table fee by 50% to meet the players and staff half way, and not to bring back the drop function. The thing is too that players want to drop ammo because other friends need ammo to spar or to base. Others just store ammo in their house, like I used to do. Maybe it would be super helpful if only ammo was the only thing that can be able to drop.

As with the duplication of items, only a minuscule amount of people know how to do this, why should they ruin it for everyone else? They are gonna get banned eventually.
Though i agree scamming is honestly the victim's fault, I don't think drop should come back. It was used to cheat the game. They fixed it, but people always find a way. Besides that, you can't stop complaints from people who are scammed. The simple fact that it's their fault won't stop them from reporting it. This created loads of spam for PRs, and in my short time of playing Era, i've seen at least 5 statements from SNK that scamming isn't illegal in-game. They simply cannot stop it or do anything about it.
Then don't make sellables droppable (except minerals) and almost all scamming will be gone. Just have minerals and ammo droppable and it will be fine.
Hmmm... Just on a side note, I sold a iron breaker a month ago for 2.7k minerals (all were silver,copper lead) I wonder if these were duped?
To be honest I just want like No melees droppable and only want materials, ammo, and small items that everyone gets through freebies droppable ... Is that too much to ask? Cuz I donate material to friends all the time ...
It is possible to have that much. But if you were concerned about them being duped you could've reported it. Though if it wasn't duped you might've wasted time, but it's better to be on the safe side. If you had them and were caught with them you might've gotten in trouble instead of the tradee.Quote:
