It doesn't look like this is the thread for an atheist, but glad to see that the Era community isn't entirely full of homophobics. My view on homosexuals is simple, they're no different than heterosexual people, they just prefer their own gender. (Unless they're Bi, they prefer both.)
Well xD there's actually a whole umbrella for the "homosexual" terms. Since it is called LGBTQ+ etc.
Which in these terms it's not only "gays" who are targetting amongst the majority. This includes trangender, demisexual, pansexual, basically every queer term.
Just wanted to make things clear.
Somehow I support lesbians, but not gays. (men) Is that good or bad of my mentality?
Dear Kendrick,
I think I know why you have this mentality.
Woman are stereotyped or have been stereotyped as girly, flirty, and to be lovely with all females (even if they hate someone). Whereas, men have been stereotyped as strong, muscular, and "alphas". They have always been the bread winner of the family and to support his family and wife.
Men+Woman= always true pair Woman+Woman= awe cute/sexy Men+Men= weak. disgusting. ew.
Those are the stereotypes I have observed in people.
Men are supposed to be strong and I suppose some gay men are unfortunately, deemed weak just because they don't like p***y.
So, your mentality to me seems normal but not good since it seems to be of a stereotypical manner.
If I am incorrect, I apologize! Thanks for commenting on this post!
Sincerely,
Suntie
First time I come back to these forums and I see this haha.
Let me just go off on a tirade really quick. First off, homosexuals aren't capable of feeling the way they feel about the opposite gender, it's just in their instinct, similar to how we are instinctively attracted to whichever gender we are attracted to, speaking in a general broad manner. The idea that your god would punish the individuals for acting on their instincts that they are unable to help is simply preposterous. I don't know what forces are out there in the universe, or if your religion is correct or incorrect, I simply don't. Nor is it my place to decide. All I can say is that something much more wonderful than we can possibly imagine must be happening, and I doubt just because someone isn't necessarily straight, that they would be excluded from that.
And if you are against it just because of your religion, then you're just close minded.
