You misunderstood. It's not 5 points, it's the top 5 gangs that earn points. Eg gang 1 get 100, gang 2 gets 80 etc

Wait so y’all dont have a lack of scripters now, but a lack of LAT? ok so obviously “Countryside” isn’t the main topic of this thread, but initially was meant to be a separate server (Gmap) from Betty (Graal era server), but wasn’t Countryside supposedly have more bases and fresher content? why not work on that to freshen up more content, more bases, and more experience for players to enjoy two different gmap?

You only are saying this because you are apart of a gang that will be greatly affected by this update which I understand why you're against because I'm in the same gang too but every once in awhile the big gangs gotta prove that their still good enough to be considered one of the best gangs I.e. The gang fortress, we should be basing to be the BEST not so we can have afk in a base all day and show off our rewards to our pixel gfs
This is going to give noob gangs like bwwwc, darkings,and gaza a good advantage to accually get 2k wich is really bad
The main purpose of this new system is to create war, but how long can a war last? We all know, it doesn't last long. This new system can only temporarily work. But you can't force 100 people war for a pixel base, at the end the gang which has 10+ lifeless people spending day and night staying base win the war and everything end. The only thing which can solve this thing is still the matter of gun. When era started till 2015, we all use ak47 and m4 to base. And now everyone has bar, and the newbies can't catch up our levels. When era started, newbies often pk base because less people own bar, and now, the fact is that newbie doesn't like to pk bases anymore as they have to deal with some guns very much stronger than them, they literally no chance of getting flag and they get bored soon quit this game. Without a doubt, newbies also known as noob are the one make basing funnier and entertaining.
You misunderstood. Countryside has a lack of scripters that can dedicate the time required to finishing it. Countryside solves a different issue to basing, yes it has a few more bases in it, but that isn't going to solve anything. Countrysides focus is on the AP 'align point" system AKA cops vs gangsters theme.
I'm saying this update 'base rework' will not face the same issue as countryside in terms of being delayed, as there is minimal script work required to finish it, as it is more a LAT orientated task, in building the levels. Of which i'm fairly sure we are not lacking in
Dude even you aren't dumb enough to think gangs like obsidian would even dare share base, us 10k+ hour gangs have too much pride to stoop that low, and you are only thinking of the near future when there are more than the current active 6 10+ hour gangs does it really sound like that maybe even 10 or so would share 3 bases?

I think change is needed but essentially killing 3-6/9 "major" gang sover 10k is kinda harsh. Also what happens when 3 gangs have homed rest given up they dont get pked coz people cant enter etc they could literally hold the bases with 0 online.
Yea but he's moving all the good gang rewards pass 10k so they would eventually have to try to base at fortress forever creating a cycle of gangs attacking the fortress and also no gang makes it to 10k and wants to restart back at 0 just to go back to the stale basing they did before AND who really just wants hats? People want gun skins
Nerf guns, make pking more accessible to more players with cheaper guns/ new players, remove chem the gun that ruined basing-

The gun nerfs were just the first step towards a bigger picture. It goes hand in hand with updating the basing system

Even if all 3 gangs holding the bases are at peace with each other (which makes no difference as they can't attack eachother anyway as they're busy defending their own bases). Then they won't be at peace with the gangs that don't have a base, as they... don't have a base... Therefore cannot earn hours unless they break the peace..?
And as time goes on, more gangs will hit 10k hours which means even more competition. More gangs + Less available bases = less ability to peace, more base conflict
Basically said the same thing about how even if they do peace the other gangs still want to base, said it like 20 times their just going to say yet again how the gangs that don't get a spot will just farm in the under 10k under a new tag

Obsidian is almost past 35k they have no reason to base lol
This system should be improved. It is very understanding to encourage new gangs to base, but people don't want to base because most of the players can't afford good guns to pk, no pk=no competition. All the big gangs are created because the pkers meet each other and start making basing gang. To encourage people basing, it is to encourage people pking.
That's why I rebalanced the majority of top guns, so that those players who want to base but can't afford the big guns, can get skilled with what they have and still compete.
People seemed to think my gun rebalancing was all about spar, when the reality was that my intentions of it were more focused towards facilitating the basing side.
They’ll use a second tag, and will base with it.
This doesn’t matter a ton to me anyways, I don’t base really, I just think it’s a bit silly trying to change something that can’t be changed. I’ll give my fair solution.
Option 1: Create new bases with an hour cap (2000, possibly higher), in which allows smaller gangs to gain hours through it, building themselves up as an established gang. This protects them from stronger gangs.
Option 2: Create the fortress but have it function as any other base would.
- Keep the hour format, it’s much easier to work with and has already been designed to be fair (creating a new system is time consuming and messes up the reward timeline)
Either way basing will stay the same, it’ll be the same gangs with the same hours, whether it be on their main tag or a second tag
Wonderful idea. But what if a gang reaches 10k hours while still inside a base? Will they teleported out, or allowed to keep the base until they loose it?
Hes not going to lower the hour cap because 2000 hours is quite easy to reach and doesn't really make a gang ready to take on a 10k + gang as we have seen before :rolleyes: and I don't think you understand how hard it would be to start back at 0 for a gang it is literally so unmotivating to be back at the beginning and for what? Just to start again once you reach 10k because you can't get the rewards you really want because you don't want to fight a bigger gang? Most people aren't like that and will just fold over and start again

This system is going to be a failure if you can't explain how this system is going to work. This system has too many drawbacks.
