How does this sound?:

1st place winners:
-You get to choose between a gun OR a certain amount of gralats per player (John will decide how the gun choosing system and gralats will work
-Gang hat
-A trophy and medals symbolizing 1st place

2nd place winners:
-Gang hat
-Medal symbolizing 2nd place

3rd place winners:
-Medal symbolizing 3rd place

GST in one day, seriously. If you can't organize this, I'm sorry but you'll just have to pick some staff members and let them help you. Since (almost) every single GST participants wants the GST to be on one day, you should do it like that.

Okay, I'll see how the first day goes, and if all the 8 rounds will take more or less 2 hours, I will try to make the rest work on the same day.
But if there are a lot of technical difficulties, I have to separate it to two weeks.

A skin is okay, the trophy and medals are included so don't worry about that. I was thinking of a diamond uzi making 1-2 damage more, you know, uzis are great for sparring.

Cause if you try to rush all into 1 day, its really not that interesting. This is an event that only happens 1 year. Every gang will get to rotate members. Depending if they are there or not for the tourney. So this is an opportunity for all members of a gang to participate.

Good thinking john, 3 days should make the GST a BIG event, The last week of GST should be the moment everyone is hoping for.

By the way, you're the only one who wants this. It's not a good idea, there are way too many disadvantages.

I'm pretty sure the matches will be short, as I said the arena is more opened up, which will make the matches end quicker. If the process ends up lasting hours, then we will all understand and agree with you on splitting into two weeks :)

Hopefully you'll be able to do it in one day because the gst is going to suck if everyone misses everything but the first rounds and the finals are just shabbily thrown together teams fighting.

Thank u for being open to this, try to get a few staff to assist you it should help you not have to do everything alone.

Also for the prize I think the gang should be able to choose any gun released atm and reskin it+rename it.

Who the hell wants a gay uzi for winning a annual event comon gives us a op weapon or something. Maybe the gang can make they're own gun and with reasonable stats and naming. Or a dinner with snk via skype? Lol but I just want a good spar gun like souizen and bag somethign that looks sexc with a sexc accessory.

Diamond M4, the elites of the elites. We have gold m4 but not diamond and it is really fair cause it would make the 1st place winners feel good with their new gun.

uzis are cool too but they are not really useful when you want to base as well, m4 is an all around type. That's my perspective.

A lot of these participates own an m4 so they know what's best.

No, no, and no. We want to make this simple. The winners wouldn't want to wait months for the gun to be completed. To make this faster, we can make our own gun skins, or just pick a gun and John will give it to us. If we want our own skin, recoloring/editing the template doesn't take long. And btw, most of you guys are talking about prizes yet you're not even participating. Let John decide, he's the one in charge of the GST, geez.

No they don't. Unless you want a completely different gani/stats on it. But if you just want to edit/recolor a gun you don't need to do any scripting.

Manually kick em, these modem tappers can avoid auto kick since it takes less than 1s to warp (like ventus last year). And people like silentkiller, banshee etc...modem tapping as soon as they see walls of bullets coming.
Manually kicking them is the best way, have bboys old GUI/system where you can watch all pings at once and kick if laggy.

Btw prizes should be different wether we win or not, 3 years in a row, we deserve something worth the hard work.
