Your 2nd blade needs better shading. The handle looks a bit dull, have more colors to it.
Your 1st blade, I wouldn't like a noob on a stick. The elf on a stick was a disaster.

Fix the shading, still. The light part needs to be a little darker, a slight.

Fix the mouth shading,the vines don't look fine give it aa and make it thickers.
And remove that gaint black outline on the eyes

It looks like an orange because it lacks texture. Notice how others applied grooves to there pumpkin, where yours is smooth.
