Truthfully, I want to people to be happy and enjoy this game, because it is a fun game. But if people have to be given stuff for free to have fun, those people aren't going to get very far.
And ec is the one thing that really
Matters if its given away. It's the one thing in the game, that is 100% earned. If it was a m4 or some sort of gun that was raffled, no one would really care, because they are common, and easy to get.
Ec is the opposite. It takes alot of perseverance, and now all of our effort, those of us who earned our ec to buy our sabers, is being thrown away. Thanks to this.
And we aren't "crying", we are arguing a completely logical point, that should still be up for discussion.
No.. honestly only 10-25 ec items to be raffled. The people who worked for their sabers have gotten their work thrown away just because someone with like 300 hours just got it free. (true). It isn't fair. I don't even have a saber and I see what is wrong. The people who keep pushing for this to be continued are saying this just because they have nothing to lose. Just keep it to 10-25 ec items.
I agree, Items worth 100+EC shouldn't have been given away in a raffle.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
This should actually be a promotion every few months for players of iEra
Thank you Rozen and Vendhin for understanding.
The thing is though, if the item is less than 30 EC, i would rather get that amount of Event Coins rather than the item. So if the item being raffled cost 20 EC, i would rather win 20 EC.
It's over now there's no need to continue discussion on it imo..
Well what if they do this again in a few months, what will happen then
I'm pretty sure snk already has said that he has learned from this and there will be unique items specifically for the raffles.
They sure as hell better not do this ever again.
is this first post have over 3000 view in few day?lol...
No one would care about m4 or something? You are mistaken, people earn those gralats for it or spend their own money on it so you have no right to say that no one would care. Most people don't have top range ec items don't care about sabers being given away. More people would care about m4's than sabers.
Lol. I cannot even fathom how wrong you are about that.
Ok well, if we want to get all in detail, here it is.
It really depends in how you look at it, but from a money/time, effort, perspective it goes like this:
Here where I live in the US, minimum wage is like 8.50 per hour. The m4 costs about $20 in real money to buy gralat packs. And a $10 gralat pack gets you 27,500 gralats, and you would
Need 2 of those to get a 55,000 gralat gun(m4). So that's about 2-3 hours of work irl. The saber on the other hand, takes far more than 3 hours of events to get. Personally it took me 2 months to get, playing 1-3 hours a day. For some people it took more, and some less. Ill take the average of my hours, so 2. That is 120 hours of just doing events. And if you know anything, that's alot more than "3".
And don't try to change the subject, and say I'm a "loser" or "get a life". This was over the summer, and my summers were rather empty.
The idea of a lucky draw is good- but maybe next time we'll make new items for it specifically.
Things only obtained through a lucky draw. That will a good way to go about it.
Yeah exactly. It's really disappointing that they didnt revoke the 100 ec items.
My idea was better >_> a player pays 5 ec to enter the draw. That would at least make sense.
Yeah that's more logical, but still a little iffy
Ive heard from a friend, that the winner of the saber was recently account scammed
And still, those hours spent digging, do not amount to that of trying to get 100 ec
Good try though. I knew you would bring that up.
Maybe the timing is different but think about this, people mainly do events because they enjoy them. People dig because they need the money, very few people enjoy digging. So events are more enjoyable and the time doesn't matter so much.
Yes events are fun, but they can't get really stressful.
So do you enjoy doing them?
Yes, to a certain extent. So like for example, if I go on a losing streak or something, ill be mad. Or if I lose an event but it was realllyyyy close, ill be mad too.
This lucky draw for the event coin items is the cheapest idea for players and it's not fair for those who obtained a light saber an another guy gets a light saber and doesn't have more then 10 Events Coins.
when was the draw?????/
Curse you lucky draw!
