Any better? Looking at them from my Kindle's POV and I can tell the difference, but trying to refrain from using near black outlines for all my items from now on. If it is what is required, however, ... :P

Looking at the bottoms of the side and back frames, I notice that they're awful flat and seem to not fit with the frontal fram that Knedrick made, yet the shading style is the same...
If you want to learn, you can't depend purely on editing. The best way to learn is to scrap the work others make for you and begin anew. If you don't, you'll continue editing and won't be able to make original images. Not that what Kendrick made wasn't valuable. Though you copy-pasted certain parts of the frontal frame, you did try to emulate his shading style. Keep up that, try to curve things better. Once you become solid with pixel curves, try AAing them. That's the path to success.
