He means that people with bad wifi connection can go into "Invincibility mode." Meaning they cannot be killed due to them abusing the lag.
They simply stand in front of the door and can't be hurt. Although, if people do this and it's reported to staff they receive a good punishment! :)
Exactly lol I don't know what to call this kind of lag basically they can't die or get hurt and they can move freely in base block the single door to prevent attackers from taking the base plus the downfall to reporting that player is that admins take too long to view the report._.
Well, if it's considered a "hack," then they'd get automatic ban/jail because they are altering the game files.
Maybe if they can script a code to were no matter what they can't stand in the doorway for more than 30 seconds?
Plus, it shouldn't be a problem considering the fact that when the door respawns, they move above or below the door, lagging or not (I think).
no one ever said it was a hack. It's not considered a hack although even I consider it a hack it's just glitching in reality. Plus it doesn't move them up or down when the door respawns. I put in my reports. "I consider it hacking because this person cannot die but can move and is abusing/interrupting the natural flow of basing."
Well, back in the day, these people with bad wifi, or "eaters"/"laggers" would freeze for other people when the lagger's ping would rise, which caused a problem with door trapping. But now, I they still move around, though, it's a delay. So it shouldn't be a problem, really.
Guys, there's one thing we aren't thinking about with the old bbz design.. snipers. Not just shooting thru the doors, but all it would be is people shooting thru the walls into the flag room, or the defenders shooting thru it from the flag room. If the walls were thickened it would be reasonable
It is a big problem though. Because like I said it's basically cheating compared to lagging itself. One guy lagging in "invincibility mode" like Shiz called it can block one door preventing players from getting in through that door then all they have to focus on is the other door remained free from that invincibility guy. Bar spam is hard enough to deal with already but with a whole team focused on one door being careless with the other door due to that lagger with invincibility.
