Changing Digging (READ THIS)

DIGGING.

As we all know digging has been a part of era for a long time

a lot of graalians dig to earn money, but a lot of us have
been noticing that digging, has been getting harder...

-Crabs have spawned more frequently

-Harder to get scallops and sandshells

-Over all, Harder to collect shells..

I remember how I could get 1,000 shells in 2 hours!

Now when I dig for an hour I only get 100-200 shells..

HOW ITS AFFECTED ERA.

So supers have been collected and traded for shells!

Tasers use to be 5,000 shells.

Clovers use to be about 2,500

Umbrellas use to be 20,000

But as digging got harder, Prices of these items
drastically dropped...

Graalians complained

Lots of diggers hate trash picking and shroom cutting

Digging over time has become hard now

Digging has been a prime way of collecting currency

and I love doing it, I find it easier and I love

showing off how many shells I have dug using "showshells" command

WHAT WE CAN DO TO FIX IT

-Make crabs spawn less frequently

-Make scallops/sandshells have a 5-10% more chances of being duggen up

-Make shovels last a bit longer

This is all I'd like to make digging how it use to be

If you think this should be done go tell an admin about this

Ok good idea, but the prices of the supers didn't drop because of digging

I agree. From what I heard digging was recently nerfed? (Not sure if true.) but if that is the case then it seriously needs a major buff considering that the gun prices now days are in the hundred thousands.

No, he basically saying Digging is harder now for people that want Supers, Cash, etc.

Crabs give you crab shells, all you need is a high damage melee to get rid of them, like the 500$ machete, easy to buy, and does 8 damage.

Digging now is like food prices being raised irl.

Seems like it's admins trying to make it harder to get gralats without spending real $$. Really annoying to hear about this hidden update.

The only thing I agree with you on is the shovels. Having to buy shovels constantly since they break so fast kills any sort of profit you can make off digging. It's time to introduce new shovels. For example 1000 Gralats for a one week unbreakable. It would function like unlimited ammo and revive.

Lol all I do is trade 300 shells for 90-115 shovels at trade tables. Easy profit. ;D

They should also buff trash picking and mushroom...
Too much player count means not much trash to collect.

Anyways,yes they should buff jobs a bit more.I find it harder to find trash and such now,and 500 shells are hard for me to obtain within an hour.

The last trash/mushroom/ammo spawn rate buff was a almost a year ago (Source). The population increased a lot since then and really should be buffed again to match the new player count. Also, I think it was mentioned in the past, but, it'd be cool if spawn rate constantly changed according to number of users online.

I agree 100% with the OP. Digging seems like it's gotten harder. The price of the supers dropping isn't because digging got harder. The more the item costs, the rarer it is. If there was an item 2 people had, it would become really rare. The more people with the item, the less rare it becomes

I wanna change digging cause its so hard to get shells now, cause of crabs and shovels, and when
you sell shells, all you get are trouches and areolateseshuhgiagibna how ever you spell it

Admins can't do it now.
Probably and maybe they won't.
But so many people are joining and playing...not sure why the idea won't be in their heads.

But anyways,they could be doing this just for the money. Make digging harder=people hate how slow they make money=buy itunes for quick cash. Master plan never fails.
Think about this too,whens the last time they did anything we asked for. I never saw an admin say,"oh is it ok if we put that in the game?" They only did that with hats that were sent to them. And now I heard we are actually(finally) getting something we wanted...tree cutting in that countryside place

Exacty what i was thinking. I, for one, am more into shrooms and trash and every time i see some it instantly is taken.

Anything that spawns need a buff. When they had you looking for different colored fireworks on this one quest,it was hard finding your very last certain colors cuz everybody was taking them,even if they didn't need it.

I see this as being a completely useless change because I can dig 1000 shells in half an hour if you know where to dig. Shells rates have gone down but they are still giving around 20+ shells per shovel. I find that nothing needs to be changed nor will it change.

What i recommend -

Digging in one spot you like
Knowing how to kill crabs quickly and where to move so you dont take damage
dig without interruptions such as pms.
