There should be a sword that has the tip of it change colors. :O
And the rest of the sword is golden like the one sword that heals you.
This sword could be VIP or auction only.
Stats:
9 damage
Fast
May leave a burn
Extras:
Can pick mushrooms off depending on the color its at.
Red tip-Red shrooms
Yellow tip-Yellow shrooms and etc.

The mushroom idea would just make it hard on the person wielding it, I know it doesn't take long for it to change colors, but their is a massive player database and many people run around searching for mushrooms, so you come across mushrooms, your waiting then while your waiting a scavenger will come and take it so you won't get all of the mushrooms maybe some, I don't know this is just how I see it.

I just got this idea...what if the number of shrooms you picked off doubled if you used the sword? Since you got to wait for the color,you can pick double the amount. Then it wouldn't be a waste of time. :D
I'd assume it'd be a quick change in colours? No? If so, I don't think it will be too much of a problem, or it could just be a sword with mushroom colours changing at the top. "Mushroom sword" Can be used to kill people. (7 dmg) It can also pick mushrooms, medium speed.
This is at most for where I'd lay it out as. Else it may be known as an OP "VIP" item.

No I do not think it should be quick change, you should just be able to pick mushrooms up whatever color its on, on the downside picking them up with the sword causes the shrooms worth to go down.

It would help if the sword can actually pick the least colored mushroom in your inventory, not depending on the random colors it gives. Because it's a pain to actually pick something that has the least amount in the "sellable" group.

7-8 damage,knockback if 7 damage,could leave burn.
Extras:
Tip of sword changes between color of mushrooms and if you match your tip with a shroom,you can swing to cut one out and you'll get double amount of shrooms since you had to wait.
Each color last 1-1.5 seconds but locks in for 10 seconds when you hit a certain colored mushroom.
I like XSTARX's idea. It should have the tip so it picks the least amount you have, so you don't get like 200 of one type and stuck at 50 of another
Guys please don't try saying other ideas if it isn't going along with the one,two post before this one. :/
XSTARX's idea is different and changes the idea of the tip changing colors. So that idea is a no.
