I have dug up over 67 rocks took me over an hour....3small hole....no big hole to the spiders...I see ppl with 50-100 hours that dug like 10 rocks, get threw and get all the stuff.... What the heck. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS DAMN THING?! Sick of it

The chance of getting a big hole was the same chance of you digging up a King Crab. Exactly the same.
It's all based on luck. So I wish you guys goodluck
So far I've seen 3 hats, the spider dagger and you get an achievement. I heard you might also get a sword, of course those are rare so it'll take a few times to go in and kill the queen for them. Just be patient, you'll get it:)

When you finish a rock there will sometimes be holes in the ground or spiders popping out. The one you're looking for is a giant hole, bigger than your player. Just grab and kill the queen and all her babies c:Quote:

After like 45 rocks I got a big hole to spawn, went through it and the giant spider must have glitched out bc it disappeared after i killed it and nothing at all dropped... Awesome, back to the grinding out stupid rocks
It worked for me, took me around 60 rocks. I got that hat and dagger. :l Hats are sexc...

Okay, I'm sure im not the only one frustrated with these types of quests era staff design. They make us drill for hours just to kill a giant spider that lasts for like 5 minutes seriously? And even worse that we have to mine which is seriously boring (idk if ya tryna promote mining lol but if ya are just make a shop which requires a certain mine level) Anyways... Some people told me it took them 2-4 hours just to drill to get to the giant spider. Next time don't make these quests so stressful, boring, for couple of items. I would like quests to be fun, doesn't take much time. As for the items they look pretty decent and cool so props for that. That's all.

Lmfao, i mined for 5 seconds and got warped to the spider place. I got the spinning spider dagger :)
It's all random, you can be mining all day or mere seconds. I'm not into quests anyway.
