Now this may not be a good idea, but what if you could get a loan from the era bank? You can only borrow 5k gralats at a time though. And you can't get another loan until you repay the bank fully.

I've always liked this idea, but what if you never pay it back? What would be your punishment? Jail? Or would you get some items stripped off you to repay your loan?
There should be interest that increases over time, and you have to place an item down and you lose it till you pay up.
But what if I put down a BAR? Would I lose the whole BAR and not be compensated for the difference? And if I am compensated, this could be a way for players to sell their items, which Era iPhone has stated numerous times that it would not do.Quote:

Yes I love this idea.
I always never have money cuz I keep all the shells/mush/trash I get until ik it's enough for a weapon. So when I need VIP or some cool holiday item,I could just loan money and easily pay it back with money from sellables.
When I talked to my sister I found out there were a lot of holes.
1.What if they get banned and never paid back? Answer: Era could also add a donation system to the bank, so that nice people with and without loans could pay for their loans, or, like y'all said, the staff could take away one of their prized belongings.
2.What if they delete the app? Like I said before they could add a donation system.

1. Loans highest loan should be 10000 and lowest should be 100 and there're should be a random selector that picks a medium damage melle from the players inventory and if they don't payback by 3 months admins start taking anything worth selling in players inventory to pay for loan
2. Investment of players could invest in gangs and shops (own gang not aloud) and they place money and at the end of week there is score board saying what shops dill well and what shops did bad and gangs
3. Last one is savings account/safe deposit . You can pay to open a safe deposit so that you can keep stuff safe from hackers and savings acount gives u more money every month or week it could be a choice so if you pick weekly it's is 5% what ever you put in and 20% monthly

I don't really like this idea, but I can just imagine players in a level where they can't escape till they dig a certain amount of shells xD.
I like that idea but they should still add donations just in case a player that still owes the bank some gralats deletes the game. ANd if there's too many people that owes money and dont pay back, the loaning will be put on pause until (other ) players help pay back the loans.Quote:

Mainly the answer is keep your account safe and highly protected from strangers.
Otherwise your stuff will get stolen.
making banks and stuff using more scripting, i hope ur looking for more glitches for stuff to be stolen cause this is the main idea for it (unless era improves their crappy server =D )
3 could actually be worse. Think about it this way, if lots of people keep valuable items in the bank then hackers will target the bank instead of people, much like bank robberies in real life.
The loan thing seems a bit crap, what if the guy didnt care for that stuff
Instead of stealing melees i would say the person gets locked in a small area were he must work it off, it would be kinda a leson to kids? If that seems rubish remove that and have interest and stuff,
Or use the bank as a job you can do once every day, where you hold up the guy at the bank for money then you must fight 3 waves of cops if you die you lose the money (it could also be done with friends and you can share it out brtween each other)
Or invest in buildings and get income from them (you must buy them though and the income is small)
Seems like i dragged the idea along but its good and adds more fun to the game
basically all of era is greedy so... basically if loans were to be maxed out stolen and it needed to be payed back, nobody would do it since they got what they wanted and what a player made so many acc made loans buys a item , transfer it to original acc sells it for shells... id get so much shells using this method so i don't see banks with loans coming in era so quit the trying

Why would you donate to help people who take loans and don't pay them back. You're helping the player not pay anything.
True.. So maybe when too many players owe Era money, the loan system'll be stopped and during that time, the players that still owe loans will be sent to a room where they have to earn money until they repay it back and players can donate a maximum of 50 gralats per 1-7 days.Quote:

Then lock off trading, and even account merging if an account has an outstanding debt. I mean this has potential to work out. Other possible penalties for having an unpaid debt could include loss of freebies, having your maximum ammo limited to 1k or less, maybe even being locked out of other things like shop purchases (you shouldn't be buying things if you have a loan) events, FB uploads and base money (which would be applied directly to the debt).
