It must be one of the new gang bases added in the game some where in the iera gmap so there for no need to freak out just something new added in the game :)

This has happened to me several times. I think this is the new base that snk is working on. I don't know if this is a glitch or if they are testing out what were to happen if a gang took the base or what. Just ignore it for now.

I remember getting a freebie saying this but no on was on and there's no such thing as a mixie base. Later, my SFX friend trolled me and said he did it I was like 0.o?????

Yes, Snk and I are working on a new base.

In beta testing, when we were creating the new class script for the fort, I grabbed an old base level from 2005.
When Snk asked me what to name it, I replied, "We'll just call it Mixie while we test", since *Mixie was Era's manager in 2005, when that base level was around.
That was two days ago, and I've since uploaded my base levels onto the server, and I'm updating them as I work with them.

Every time I update the levels to the server, I go back and take over the base to verify that the takeover script is still working fine.
Also, when I'm giving a tour of the new base and demonstrating it to another staff member, I take over the base for proof of concept.
When I take the base over, it sends out a message to everybody on the server, saying that "Their gang" has taken over Mixie base.

Pay it no mind, and enjoy whatever freebies come with it during this process. :)

And before it gets asked: No, it won't be called "Mixie", haha.
That was just temporary-- I'm thinking "Neo Zone", since Neo = New, and this base comes with a couple features new to the iEra basing scene.

To address the other thread that has been locked as well, inquiring about (Manager) taking over bases,
Yes, that was also part of this beta testing when Snk took over the base on his (Manager) tag.

Let's get a little deeper! (That's what she said.)

These "couple new things," is it just the layout in the base or does the base have some new features?

I can actually suggest a few ideas of mine:

- Base Trap: Can be triggered by the base owners by grabbing a button on the wall.
- Moving Obstacles: This prevents from hiding behind one thing and camping, exposing your player.

There should be a "Base Gun." This is basically a gun that is inside the base that anyone can use but is mostly for newer players that only have a starter gun. It could have unlimited ammo with AK47's freeze and a small clip. Just an idea but it would help new players understand basing quicker.

I am receiving the same freebies a lot lately, like 1 every short period of time.Not just me, but there is my gang members also receiving the same.
But, I've appreciate what it is called and what it would be called.I hope that it would be a nice base.

I'm not sure if it's a class or an NPCDump, but there's a script designed for the proper functioning of every base.
GangFort_Tachi, GangFort_BB, GangFort_Mixie, etc.

This is why Snk does the scripting. ;)

So somebody who usually relies on their melee to blow past the fight and get a cheap "victory" will likely be displeased by this base.
On the flip side, those who prefer gun fights will be very happy.

On that note, it's also bigger than GZ.

In order to do that though, we'd have to figure out a new gang reward currency, since there's no effective way to convert kills to hours, or vice versa.
So to keep it uniform with the other bases, it must follow suit with the "hour capture" system.

Instead of killing a chest, though, we're devising a system similar to takeovers from other games,
where you must stand within a circle, unopposed, for x amount of seconds to make a capture in this base.

ohhhhh like king of the hill wow man I am so going to love this new way of basing, make it that you have to stand for at least 10-20seconds

Oh.

Yeah, I suppose you could pick off kills in the entrances of the base with a melee.
Especially on opening day of this-- that place will be packed.
