Reward for joining.

I've been seeing a lot of posts lately from people who just want to join the forums for the Event Coin prize.

Personally, I think we should take off that prize. We shouldn't bribe players into joining the forums. If you still want to keep the EC prize, at least make it to where they have reached a certain post count. That'll give them a chance to see what the forums are like instead of just posting and leaving.

That's just my opinion. I want players to experience the forums, not just use it for a reward.

I agree. I'm quite tired of players just posting once in the Hellos and Goodbye sections. You see forum users with 1 post and they are inactive.

I'm pretty sure someone can get temp ban for posting too often. Just a suggestion though.

Just make the newcomers suffer by letting them post a minimum of 200 times before receiving their EC.

If not, make it 1000.

I'm not sure how well that would go. If people truly cared about joining the Era-Go community then they'd willingly stay. Like AceLion said, to get the EC they'll just spam the forums with more meaningless posts since they don't care. The 1 post EC does its job in spreading the word that these forums exist.

Now thinking about it, I take it back, Vacci is right, if it was 100 posts their main reason and the only reason to stay is to get that free EC.

But how in the world can era track how many posts there are? That could be pretty difficult
