Isnt it about time to buff the pay rate for mining?

Now that Pizza has been buffed or at least made easier with more ovens- isn't it about time to buff mining? Seriously, at level 0, mining earns <500 gralats an hour, and if you stick with it continuously for a year or two and get to the 'exalted' level 50, now you're earning a whopping ~950 gralats an hour! Isn't it time to raise the pay for the minerals or up the rate at which gems and gold pop out the grinding machines? Before people argue that it pays higher, and many people think that it does, - I have done numerous 1000 rock grinding experiments and each time it pays out around 3800 gralats when you convert all the gems and minerals to money.

Your supposed to level up to get a pay raise. Trust me, high mining is worth it.

Get level 100 at mining (nearly sorry impossible) but see how it gonna work .
Suggestions :
Maybe lets say your lvl 0 at mining,mine to lvl 5 ,give your drill to a friend , and to another and to another and maybe give them some shells isntead...

Level 50+ gives you the big bucks an hour.

The higher your mining level, the faster you'll mine the rocks

Thus why only handful of players choose this job.
It pays off at the end, but its not the ideal job for players who want fast and efficient pay.

i chose mining as a job. I personally love it. I have a mining gang, and like 2 mining gang allies. Mining seems to be quicker while u talk. but it still takes a while. im lvl 18, i mine pretty fast but not as fast as i wish i could. but either way i use mining as my way to get my money. i even trade my rocks to ppl who need em for gun repairs and get paid twice as much as i usually would.

Think long-term for mining that is.

It's worth the pay. Can't have it start out super fast, otherwise it gets nerfed as other jobs become obsolete.

The drill level stays on you. If you give someone a drill, it won't be your level.

It sucks how it'll take you a century just to go to level 100.

it doesnt take yrs. just like 1500 straight hours of mining.

Wow, Digging shells is more better than mining

1800$ per hour (shovel)
900$ per hour (mining)

technically its not. digging is annoying. u have to deal with crabs and u gotta deal with noobs tryna steal ur shells 24/7 and finding a spot these days for digging is hell. and dont forget the fact that its like the most tireing job ever. i dig for maybe and hour and my thumb hurts. on the other hand, mining is peaceful. its slow at first but it gets faster and faster as u lvl up more and more. plus when u reach lvl 100 its overly the best job in the game by far. the only thing bad about mining is the fact that theres noobie barrel throwers. but thats easily overcome cause theres like 4-5 mines. 2 in southridge. one in a base and the one near the mall, then theres a mine near bh, theres the original wiluna mines, theres the mine near the main spar complex, and then last but not least u got the frozen mine in gangster zone. so i rather mine then dig. but thats my opinion.

Mining is actually better in the long run. That is, if you actually have patience for it.

Well when you get into level 100, mining will crush every other job.

mining takes loyalty and effort to make some $$$$$ :)

Mining is boring like I got 78 rocks in just an hour. And also crabs gives shells also.

Patience! Longer you mine = Higher level you are = Mote money you get

As Kendrick said before. On level 100, mining crashes all other jobs.

Even car missions? :( nothing crashes car missions! Jk, you could literally get $40+ in 1 min, 40x60=$2400 an hour, it's just that the risk of failing is high

On lvl 100, you mine 1 rock per second (or 1,5 seconds), this means 60*60= ~3600 rocks

Now grinding: you lose almost 1/5 . Result: 3600*5/5=3600$ minimum
And if you're lucky...(impossible) and you will manage to grind all rocks without failing... 3600*5=18000$ Per hour.

Not everybody is lvl100 not anybody at all, while everybody can get a car and do missions

We can only lose rocks. The thing is, rocks are pretty worthless when it comes to before grinding. They can't be sold in shops, however if they're grinded there's a chance for high minerals to be in there. This is why they can be valuable in trades. There is hardly a loss in mining after buying a drill, as long as you know how to mine right.

Like instead of tapping all the time, tap once in awhile. Your battery won't deplete as fast. When you have rocks flying while drilling, that actually slows you down. Those both contribute to saving your battery life, thus saving you from buying batteries at a faster pace.

I mean, mining isn't for everyone, lot of people lose patience at level 5. That's the quitting level usually. Other jobs are better than mining, to a certain level. I get more money back per battery than I would for a shovel, and it's more expensive.

So do mining, you have to find a spot, deal with mines breaking down and minerals not being produced
