What happens to unsold acorns?
1.) Disappear from inventory
2.) Stays in inventory
3.) Turns into gralats.
Please help as I think they're closing the shop soon.

Acorn hunting won't be closing down, I don't think so.
The shop will be closed pretty soon.

They should add acorns in Spring, Summer, and Fall. Also, they should increase the spawn rate. So hard to find a gold acorn.
