Like Slapjack said, there's a group that's been doing that for awhile but the staff haven't punished them because they're being slick with it. When they're saying "PM me if you need help with EC's" they are actually saying "I'll get you ec for cash but I can't say that in my status cause I'll get banned." For some reason the staff haven't caught onto that and they've been doing it for months now. That's one of the more disgusting parts of the events community.

He doesn't get paid for an item or an account, he gets paid for a service. Could also be classified as a donation for something.

PS: Chats on KIK are no valid proof. It has to happen in-game in order to be taken into account. Unless the KIK account was previously advertised in-game, but it clearly states the opposite in his status.
