Ideas for Chistmas

Hey I decided to make a thread where you era-go users can post your Ideas for Christmas.

My ideas (so far): Make the Odachi Katana available to people who didn't get it before but only from gifts (I'd say a 1.5-2% drop chance is good)

I'm interesting To hear others ideas towords Chritmas :D

Better to start suggesting ideas now, rather than weeks/days before Christmas giving staff no time to implement decent suggestions.

That means if you open 10 presents you have a chnace of getting an odachi katan from one
You want iEra to be filled with 10 hour players with 8-10 damaging melees who got it for free
While there were people spending 10+ hours on 20k kills to get it?

Oh sorry after checking out a 10% drop rate and doing more script research that should be reduced to 1.5-2%

correct, unless you want a christmas vip item 3 weeks after the month starts. Perhaps a flying candy cane like the broom vip?

correct, unless you want a christmas vip item 3 weeks after the month starts. Perhaps a flying candy cane like the broom vip?

I like this idea, that would be a good one.

That just would not work.

For Christmas V.I.P, I have 2 ideas it would be awesome if an Electric whip was made. The Christmas lights can be coiled up in a sort of whip and whipping it would damage the player:
->5 dmg.
->4% chance of an electrocuting effect.
->The effect can do an additional 2 damage (max) over the course of seconds.
->Perhaps a bag to allow the user to store away the item.
Just an idea.

Furthermore, I would love to see that the dropping feature be added to presents again, for reasons I stated in another post. It creates the cheery spirit of having players chase you around era as you drop presents. :)

Another snow mountain maze! If they do Christmas similar to last year then it would be perfect. We had a christmas quest, a spawning mountain quest, and gifting presents to everyone.

Odachi katana has a higher drop rate than the water gun from the summer event this year?!?!?!?!

From what I can estimate
786 (Top quality) presents = 43230 food, 35 ec, $117,000, Golden auction gun and (or) golden gun, rare melee like rage.
Would this be accurate?

What would I want to see in Christmas? Clearly, a quest that won't last a day. No, just joking, that's too much to ask. A quest would be amazing, but please.. no trashpick as a reward.

Look what we have here a bunch of alternates a friend provied me with that we in the games code how about we use one of the alternates as a present items, but with reduced stats like the original have 9 damage with knockback and fire damage, so for one of the alternates either 9 damage but no effects or 1 effect but 7-8 damage?

The odachi is already in the game, and was a reward for 20000 points that you earned through an elf killing event.. I think it was anyway? The sword is great and looks wonderful with its unique glow, but sadly something like this needs to remain rare, and the people who bought it worked hard for it. I don't think these will be in presents, sorry:eek:

What I'd like to see for xmas is a really nice quest just like the other years. With really nice rewards at finish, I think it'll be great. Just two things for xmas, presents and quest!! = )
