EC Item Revamp

Over the years we have been introduced to a lot of new EC items, some better than others. While most items serve a novelty purpose, some are quite useful and are represented in their EC value. With refunds out the window, these are some viable solutions.

However, some items have had their utility diminished by other items that fill the same niche as the aforementioned items. Thus, I propose that we revamp some of the items as follows...

-Heal Staffs(50 ec) It seems as though every seasonal update includes yet another healing item, but when the staffs were originally introduced they were the only healing melees.
I propose a further increase in either the heal range or the amount healed.

-Light Sabers(100ec & 125ec) Many know that the light sabers are a show off weapon, but, an increase in damage to 10 would be appealing to owners, especially when looking at the chaplain dagger which is 25 or 50 ec cheaper and an all around better melee.

-Artillery Cannon(27 ec) The AC used to be the most prominent explosive weapon in the game, and had received several nerfs in the past to its damage and knock back. I propose that it only gets a faster reload/ lees reload freeze as many of the new explosive weapons outshine it.

-Chainsaw Gun(24 ec) With the low price of this gun it isn't supposed to be great, however, one thing that bothers me is the damage of the chainsaw. It's supposed to be more so a novelty/utility than a weapon, but it honestly takes forever to take out a base door. An increase in damage to 9 as opposed to the current 7 will make it useful and not op as it is slow already.

-Grenade Launcher(43 ec) An increase in range even if minor will make this weapon viable in more situations.

-Bamboo Rod(35 ec) The bamboo rod has always been underwhelming, an increase in damage to 8 will make it as valuable as its 35 ec counterparts.

-Hyrule Dagger(30 ec) I don't expect anything major for this weapon, but a cool gani with it would be nice since it is just a novelty weapon.

-Red Mace(30 ec) Same as above, nothing major, but maybe a good amount of knockback just for the novelty.

-Scimitar(30 ec) Maybe a cool gani.

-Machete(30 ec) An increase in speed of the attack gani.

-Ion SMG(95 ec) Many who have purchased this feel it's underwhelming in comparison to the other ion weapons. The SMG itself is good, a 15 clip would be nice but is not necessary. The problem lies in the Gauss Launcher. Maybe the ability to shoot over walls would be what it needs to as Sam said "compete with each other".

There is my peace, feel free to give your opinions over other items I didn't include and possibly some staff will be in agreement.

Fair enough it's your opinion, but he was just suggesting an idea and if you disagree with them, it would be helpful if you stated why.

Back on topic:
The main item I agree on a change with is the healing staff's. Many people are now saying they are not worth the 50Ec as there are many items purchasable via gralats which can do the same thing.

The revamps you suggested are completely unbalanced and if you think someone would take the time out their lives to apply these because you're the only one who wants it, then you deserve an аss beating.

Gralat healing melee's only heal 2 hp and 4 with white buff. 50 EC healing staffs and rage, winter, egypt, space staffs all heal 3hp and 6 with white buff which are currently the fastest healing staffs. The reason why I think most people think it's a waste of EC is because you can easily buy a winter staff for 75-80k tro. People who dig alot can earn that in 2 months. I suck at events and cant get EC fast and in my 4 years of playing ive only aquired 81 EC so I would feel it would be a huge waste of EC to buy those staffs.

First and foremost he should be receiving an infraction for that final sentence. Secondly, could you tell me how they would be overpowered? They are all minor changes, nothing gamebreaking. Like everyone else says, you are SOUR don't know much about you except you may have been former administration on era, and if you don't have anything to contribute positive or negative feedback, then kick rocks off my thread.

Heal staff - 3 HP per seconds. Why they need to revamp Event Items? I don't see any bad things of EI..

I didnt know bamboo had less damage, but yeah bamboo should atleast get the minor damage buff, and agreed the greande launcher should have a minor buff to its range, i dont know what else should be tweeked but sofar some ideas isnt that bad.

Just get rid of the stupid recoil effect, it doesnt exists irl. Its funny how gas launcher is huge and has no recoil. Also make grenade launcher auto, since its weaker than a snowball launcher. Also buff the range, when shooting up its extremely too short for any walls

bamboo shouldn't get a damage buff since it's less ec than katana.
and lol i though you meant like update the graphics just like how spar and pks went under a redesign but a redesign that only bitzsam wanted pretty much he did like he wanted as always lol.

I always like comparing EC guns with normal guns to see if they're really worthy, and I was completely surprised. I would like to point out how the EC guns are worst than a normal gun.

First of all I'll compare the P2K's and the Ion Pistol, it's true that you need 150k kills to get the P2K's, but if you already have the kills, the Ion Pistol is completely worthless.

On this comparison you can clearly see how the P2K's have better stats, being a gun that is bought with graalats. The only thing that the Ion Pistols outbeat the P2K's is the spread, which is completely good to have a spread of 0.11 by your side. As I said before, it's true that you need 150k kills to unlock the P2K, if you already have those requirements, I would rather be saving 200K and wasting 95EC, that is really more difficult to get than 200k graalats.

The next one is the Ion Pulse Cannon, in this one i'm comparing it with the Minigun, this time, you don't need any kill requirements at all.

To be honest, the only good "pro" that the Ion Pulse has is the normal walking since the other gun it's not that good.

In my opinion, this two guns should be buffed, considering the factors I mentioned before, maybe a small buff, giving an advantage of the guns I had been mentioning.

100k Kills, the Jetpack helps the ION pistols in a boost in worth.
Plus, even with better "stats", the P2K doesn't seem that good compared to the new ion guns.

And how does EC compare to Kills/Gralats?

And the Pulse cannon IMO is way better than the minigun.
Considering the shotgun is a menace to be reckoned with, and the pulse cannon itself is a pretty beast of a weapon when you add the stats all together + normal walking speed.

It honestly doesn't need much of a buff at all, or any.

And you said "Ion Sniper" but put down Pulse cannon instead.

The jetpack is not a really good ability if i'm honest, it does nothing but boost you, which is not something incredible if you compare it with other guns abilities.

That's an opinion, but as I said before, even though the Ion Pulse Cannon has a normal speed, the low clip will be really annoying, making the stats of the Ion Pulse really balanced to the Minigun. I had not been too much in depth with the shotgun though, since I still don't have the stats of it, but if it's a beast of a weapon, then it might not need a buff.

The ION guns aren't meant to be completely better than shop guns. As I always told people who asked about them, there are shop guns better than each of them.
Ion carbine is similar to gm4, ion pistols are similar to the metal storm, ion sniper is inbetween the m107 and psg1 and ion pulse cannon is the flamethrower without the burn damage.

The effects are what sets them apart, the guns aren't all suppose to be stupidly op, especially with how easy and frequently ECs are given out.

And p2ks as a reward gun isn't really meant to be compared as it costs 200k and is a reward gun so it will always be better than most other 9 damage guns.

The ec store is not going to get a 'revamp' as they are purchasable items and the impact that will have is that it will change certain items which would be unfair to people who had spent their ec coins on something else before it was updated.
EC store prices aren't based solely on its stats/ advantages, there are factors such as certain items being kept as rare items/ the abilities they have.

Gani was changed for no reason and was turned into a terrible one

Nothing is good about dragon dagger, give it something or a better gani

the shotgun attachment i believe is 6 damage (7 perfect), 2 bullets, stacked (up to 14 damage).

its a crowd killer.

The flame/ chem from the previous ec store are better than anything in the new ec store, and the ion carbine still remains as one of the more favoured competitive guns when compared to the new ones. There are some things that are better and others that aren't. If everything in the new ec store was worse then what would be the point of it. If there are items that are the same stats then don't buy it if you already have a previous version, it's for the people who don't have any. If there is an item that is better that you want then save for it.

Not every item in the ec store is meant to be amazing, just buy what you like or save your ecs. I don't really see why the older items should be updated/ buffed/ given new things as that defeats the purpose of adding a new ec store
