I demand an explanation from an admin

I recently lost my cool at someone and was gagged (I was in the wrong. I deserved to be gagged) However 30 seconds later after I had walked off, my custom was DELETED by a member of staff. I demand an explanation for this as I have had the custom for 2 years and its never been a problem. Izak and Monty have been awesome in trying to help me but in the end they didn't really achieve anything. Admins acting out and deleting people customs for seemingly no reason is simply unacceptable and I demand AT LEAST an explanation or my custom back. My in game name is CrazyTeenDragon.

I think it was meant to be a backpack but ended up just looking like a green blob on my back

It could be considered a flashing image, due to the feet changing colors as you walk.

The correct place to get answers about this topic is submitting a ticket to http://support.toonslab.com/ or by contacting an SPR or PRA in game.

It's important to note that just because you haven't been warned to change your custom and had not been told that it was invalid doesn't mean that your custom does't violate rules.

Besides, it wasn't until recently that administrators decided to crack down on "illegal" customs.

My guess is that the green blocks on your body served as a big issue or your feet.

Well if it IS because of the "backpack" not saying it is but if it was, the reason would be because I'm pretty sure the backpack rule was a recent rule change, which would mean that it may have been allowed before but not anymore giving the admin reason to refund it now. But then again no guarantee it was the backpack.

So if it was a rule change should I not have been fully refunded? Its not my fault that they changed the rules. If I needed to change my custom because of a rule change I want the 10k I spent on the body back so I can actually change it.

Besides ex post facto doesn't apply here.

You even admitted that the green blobs are odd and described them as "backpack" -ish.

It was established long ago that you can't have bodies that exceeded a certain size and just because you had it for 2 years doesn't mean that you possessing such a body was allowed.

In my opinion, after reading that you wanted a refund, my take on this issue would be that since you had 2 years to enjoy your body, that's more than enough "consumption" or use than what was allowed, meaning I think that you shouldn't get refunded.

That is a fair point. However imagine spending 10k. Being told its legal and that I can use it by an admin. Then walking around for 2 years. Having MULTIPLE conversations with admins who can clearly see my custom as I walk around them. And then one day having it randomly deleted with no explanation. I do see your point, but if they hadn't accepted my custom in the first place id still have my 10k. Which I did work pretty hard for.

Oh and update: I have since been contacted by an admin, it is due to the feet changing Color. They're considered flashing images. So thank you TristanFoSho for explaining the situation

As seen, I don't think it was refunded due to the backpack. Rest assured.

The feet were considering a seizure warning? Wow. I've seen so much worse in this game, especially backgrounds. Oh well. Hope you got all your money back.

Gummy bear bodies now allowed.
Donut and other food bodies now allowed.
We do not allow any body animations!
We do now allow the doll bodies that were previously disapproved for being slightly too small.


The above changes only apply aslong as the body still has legs and matches the size of our current body template.

Bodies WE DO NOT allow:
Blob bodies
Bodies with weapons attached similar to any that we sell in iEra
Mermaid bodies or other bodies without two legs that do not work
within the Era player movement ganis
Pay special attention to the grab frame. Sometimes the head is cut
off or the players are trying to add something inappropriate to it.
The head being cut off in the grab frame is a common issue. Please
watch out for it. (example: wronghead5.png)
We DO NOT allow real life pictures as heads.

Please DO NOT upload any custom that does not adhere to the
following rules:
Any images that may be deemed racist or offensive against a
player(s) or real life individuals
No translucent, invisible, or small heads and bodies
No heads or bodies that only show outlines
No images which may disturb game play such as flashing shields,
gore or violent-glowing shields, shields that cover more than ½ of
the player
No flashing images
Do not upload customs which are significantly larger or smaller
than the templates
No customs which make you appear invisible on certain grounds
(such as grass-looking bodies/heads)
No images that are pictures of real life people or real life

This is an awesome list. Thank you. And honestly their usually not that bad. I'm just annoyed that it took them 2 years to "notice" my custom. Otherwise I've almost always had good experiences with customs

If i saw it (i didn't) i would've refunded it because of the shoes. Different coloured frames aren't allowed :( Or are flashing images

At this point I don't care what it was. I'm more annoyed that because an admin originally failed to do their job. I now have to make another custom AND have to save another 5k. Taking away someones custom and not giving a full refund after one of YOUR staff screwed up is just ridiculous. But hey you guys might see it differently.
