If there any plans for the Flame Thrower to be nerfed, then it will announced on the Forums. There is no need to go "poking" for an answer.
I don’t think they’re going to nerf it again
If flame was to be nerfed, it would have been nerfed in the Weapon Rebalancing project of Bitzsam. So.. Nope, flame isn't getting nerfed yet. If it will the Guns Admin will keep us up-to-date.
It isn't that op so i doubt it
At this point I am sure 2/3 of era players have flame and nerfing it would just cause problems, so no I don’t think it will ever be nerfed and many threads about this have already been made.
