Idea to add more active forum go-ers

What if like every 2-4 months there's an event where we try to get a certain amount of people on the forums (have to have an account and be online) and try to break the 2015 record and if they reach the desired number an EC is given in game. This would make more people sign up (some just for the ec I know) but some people may join and see the forums and how they work and they can be like "wow this is cool, a place I can leave my ideas, respond to others, and talk about the game in general, etc". I do be lmk ieve this would help forum activity pick up a bit.

Should be in Forum suggestions.

Only active members in Era's community will stay, though. Kids and newbies (who take up a fair majority of people who would just want an EC) won't stick around. I don't think that placing an incentive only for joining will get us anywhere

Or events hosted on the forums (besides gfx competitions ffs) monthly or so and the prize would be my autograph

Well I personally joined for the free ec and started to be active in 2016

It's not 2016 and most of the player base are kids.

As I already stated in the post yes I know people would just join for EC but the point is it'd likely attract more some people into being active on the forums.

People would make up multiple accounts for just 1 ec, but we certainly need a way to get a lot of ppl on Era go

That depends entirely on the person.

Yes, some may do that.

But, others may not have known about the forums, and this will give them the motivation to check them out.

60-80% that's 20-40% of them staying which means more activity doesnt it

I say more billboards, or go straight to pop-up ads if they sign up the ad will go away
