if this was a perfect world and people would respect the rules this would work.

It'd be hard to monitor for inappropriate behaviour and it would also cause the server to lag (if the voice files are sent to the rc)

Actually, I find this a great idea. Of course, this microphone should have a setting that says 'Recieve recordings from friends only' or even 'Disable microphone recordings'.
