what is the best melee in the game that kills the fastest and takes bases fast

well if its just like hitting someone with a melee then chaplain others like saber and brellas have special abillties like deflect.

but they arnt the best/fastest in the game?

fastest is katana or saber outside of a base in bases they go same speed as a dagger.

how does the base effect the fastness

theres a hit timer for it.
