Hi guys, some of you may know that ive been doing gfx for a while but now ive now finally decided to start my own thread:cool:

The one on the right looks pretty good- I honestly can’t tell what’s “off” about it. Possibly the symmetry in the pattern is what you feel is off?

its the actual positioning of the wings, it doesnt match the way the body is facing

It works for Era, as you seen with Robg, but in pixel art in general, you only need like 3 shades per color. The thing about pixel art is that you simplify everything. If you would like to add me on discord, I learned a few amazing tricks from Wrex that I would love to pass on to you. Simplify the shading and avoid shading tools. <3 Grahfix
