The gun range isn't new. There is one by the new "coop land" if I'm correct, there is a rock below it, that has a gun range that was there before

For a second I thought that it was a gun range to test out guns you didn't own. Giving everyone an insight on what the gun is going to be like if you bought it. But as everyone is stating, it sounds like the gun range inside the rock like MikeV said.

Yes, the gun range within the Gun Point shop is just a mini game to see how many targets you can shoot within 60 seconds I believe, it's nothing special.

Would of loved it to be a range where you get a GUI and you can choose from a list of weapons to try out for 60 seconds inside the firing range. Then after the player leaves the firing range, the gun they were testing goes away. This can fix the misleading summaries/overviews of the guns, and can really help see what your'e dealing with.
