What's the trading rate of shells for rocks?

I've recently been mining a lot and was thinking about trading the unprocessed rocks for shells.
What's the going rate of shells per rock or rocks per shell?

I'd have to say 2:1 since it takes as much time to find a scallop/sanddollar as it takes to mine a rock

the thing about tradding it can be anything it just depends if people will buy it or not. if you dont like the price dont sell or buy it. If enough people with a certian object refuse to sell for a price the price will rise. just as if people sell it for lower it will keep dropping. So its what youre willing to buy or sell for not other people.
