What are the Rules of Fort Events?

There have been some questions about pk event kills and nobody seems to be able to answer them. Earlier I got a 50 streak while in a pk event, and ended up with 300 kills, and someone else in my gang ended up with almost 400 while getting a 149 streak during the event. We ended with a total of 900 kills with 15 people online all pking. Some people say ac kills don't count. Now people are saying kills don't count if u have the flag and some people say melees don't count. I have also heard any ec shop item does not count. Can someone please clear this up.

1. Does Artillery cannon work towards earning kills? and if not why aren't ec melees allowed?
2.Does healing during fort make the kills after healing not count until you die?
3. Does disconnecting during fort kill and connecting back remove kills you had?
4.Does Taking tag off or kicking players make there kills to be removed?
