Brief explanation of what mafia is(from wiki) :
Mafia is a party game, modeling a battle between an informed minority and an uninformed majority. Players are secretly assigned alignments: either "Mafia",who know each other or "Towns people",who know only the number of mafia amongst them. In the game's "night" phase,the mafia covertly "murder" a towns person. During the day phase,all of the surviving players debate the identities of the mafia and vote to eliminate a suspect. Play continues until all of the mafia have been eliminated,or until the mafia out number the towns people.
Here's a quick runthrough on how it will work:
Day Phase(Town discusses who to lynch.)
Town lynches(Each person has a vote,you can opt to lynch no one.)
Night Phase(Mafia PM me who to kill,other roles PM their night actions.)
Day Phase....
Rinse and Repeat till one faction wins.
*Day phases will last till someone gets a majority of the votes/or everybody votes.
*Nights phases will last till everyone with night roles send me their night actions.
To vote a player: (Write name here)
To unvote/change vote: Unvote
Feel free to post here and sign-up. I'm hoping to get a 15-20 person game going. Once we have enough people to play,I will send everyone a Role PM. Here's an example:
Dear Tricky,
You are a Townie.
You're kinda plain,and have no special roles whatsoever. You vote during the Day Phase and try to get rid of the Mafia.
You are alligned with the Town. You win if all anti-town forces are eliminated from the game.
