Its just a rare axe, it doesnt have to do anything different besides look unique
Then why would they give it as a prize in a major event if it does nothing?? Im sure admins dont give worthless prizes in a major event like that on facebook....and btw im asking what does it do.Originally Posted by Renegade

If staff limit an item to events only, it gets a scarce commodity en totale, so the value of it rises up. For example the going price for a magma axe at trades is about 8-50k (because no price has actually been invented). The fact that its rare alone, is beneficial enough to be worthy as an event item.
What's been given won't be considered as an EC item.
The katana was once an auction item in 2011 before EC shop was released, the people who won it still gets to keep it.
Because they wanted to 'give a preview' of how good the katana was and thus, it's still sold in the EC shop.
Magma Axe doesn't seem like a EC item, feels like it belongs to FB Sharing Contest than auction.
